Access Numbers: This number generally initiates with 1 to 800 and is a ten or eleven digit number that could be utilized from all types of telephones and also does not have any surcharges. Before making use of the calling card, this access number should be dialed first to avail the system.

Maintenance Fee: From the very first call you make, weekly this fee is assigned to your plan. The rates of the calls would be very low if your calling cards have maintenance fee and also within a short period of time, you can avail the most of it.

Payphone Surcharge: Whenever you make a call from payphones, this surcharge would be applied. The Banana call schemes whenever used from the payphones would be charged up to 99c.

Pinless Dialing: This is a method which allows you to make calls without dialing the PIN each time you avail your plan. Enroll your telephone number when you get your PIN information and in the banana call plans, there is an option to enroll up to six phone numbers without dialing the PIN number.

PIN: It is called as the Personal Identification Number or a code that is associated with your calling card.

Rechargeable: Whenever you put some amount to your scheme or plan, the same PIN information is maintained and the card is recharged. It is quite beneficial since you need not alter the PIN whenever you recharge.

Rounding/ Billing Increments: For any duration of a phone call, it is the fundamental unit. You can avail a scheme with lower rounding if you generally make short calls and a higher rounding plan is recommended for long calls since it gives very low rates.
